Abdominoplasty is a surgical procedure that allows the reconstruction of the abdominal wall by removing excess skin and fat, as well as the tension of the abdominal muscles, with the objective of reshaping the abdomen, waist and body contour, to achieve a firmer and slimmer appearance.
This procedure is usually combined with Liposculpture to enhance the results and better define the silhouette. Also, in some cases, depending on the quality of the tissues and the patient’s background, a reinforcement mesh can be used to provide greater support to the abdominal wall and reduce the risk of weakening or postoperative flaccidity.
As in Liposculpture, in this procedure High Technology (Microair – Laser – Liposound) is used to minimize the trauma in the tissues, reduce the intra-surgical bleeding, reduce the recovery time and improve the skin retraction.
